Groups Come Together for Change

Two Kansas groups have teamed up to support a campaign for change.

The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN, and the Kansas National Education Association met today.

Their goal is to show support for the Change America Now campaign.

The campaign focuses on passing legislation in congress that supports, among other things, raising minimum wage.

The KNEA said parents making more money keeps kids out of poverty, and helps them perform better in school.
